Terms of use
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website, stickbench.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Information only
Our guides, tables and comparisons are general information for hobbyists. They're researched from manufacturer manuals, official documentation and firmware release notes (see How we research). We work to keep them accurate and say which versions each guide covers. However:
- software, firmware, prices and product specs change, sometimes after we last checked;
- manufacturers sometimes change hardware without changing the product name;
- your exact hardware, firmware target and settings may differ from what a guide was written for.
Always check the manufacturer's manual and the official release notes for your exact device and version.
2. Your responsibility: firmware, batteries and flying
- Firmware flashing and configuration can make a flight controller, receiver, transmitter or radio unusable ("bricked") if the wrong target or version is used or the process is interrupted. Back up first (for example, Betaflight
diff alland your radio's model files), match the target and version, and follow the official instructions. - Bench work: remove the propellers whenever you configure, test motors or test failsafe on the bench.
- Lithium batteries (LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion) can catch fire if damaged, charged incorrectly or stored badly. Follow the battery and charger manufacturer's instructions. Never leave batteries charging unattended, and never use damaged or puffed packs.
- Flying: you are responsible for following the aviation rules where you fly, including registration, pilot tests or IDs, Remote ID and where you may fly. Radio transmitters must also be used within the power and frequency rules of your country. Our drone rules page links the official regulators. It is not legal advice.
You use the information on this site at your own risk.
3. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of anything on it.
